Celebrity lawyer and alleged criminal Michael Avenatti returned to his favorite pastime of composing embarrassing tweets on Sunday evening when he asserted that the number one best-selling book, “Justice On Trial,” is actually “complete trash.”

Avenatti injected himself into The Federalist Co-Founder Sean Davis’s mentions to complain that authors Mollie Hemingway and Carrie Severino are “complete hacks,” because they did not interview him about his work in helping confirm Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“This book and the work they did is complete garbage. They never contacted me for comment on anything,” Avenatti said. “Why not? Because they knew it would destroy their narrative and nonsense about Swetnick. They wrote a book of fiction and are rightly being ignored.”

Contrary to Avenatti’s assertion, “Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court” has not been ignored. It reached the Amazon best-seller list on July 8, a day before its official release.

Avenatti’s critical role throughout Kavanaugh’s confirmation last fall was solidified when he made explosive accusations of sexual misconduct against the now-justice, alleging that he was involved in a teen gang rape operation where girls were “drugged using Quaaludes.” Avenatti represented Julie Swetnick, the third woman to make allegations against Kavanaugh, near the end of his confirmation process.

Avenatti, who was recently indicted for allegedly stealing $4 million from a former paraplegic client, tweeted that there will not be a second printing “Justice On Trial” because it is “trash.”

In fact, “Justice On Trial” has already gone to its second round of printing.
