After two European professional golfers repeatedly missed a putt during a practice session just before the Ryder Cup kicked off on Thursday, an American fan showed them how to get it done.
“I could have made that,” David Johnson of North Dakota yelled at professional golfers Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan after they tried and failed to successfully complete a 12-foot putt.
Reigning British Open champ Henrik Stenson pulled Johnson out of the crowd and onto the green, and another European golfer, Justin Rose, raised the stakes by placing a $100 bill right next to the ball.
