IRS forms show the Chick-fil-A Foundation has switched from financially supporting antipoverty and other charitable organizations to underwriting pro-abortion and pro-LGBT groups.
According to the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s 2017 IRS 990 form, the fast-food corporation gave $2,500 to the SPLC which deemed the restaurant a “hate group.”
It shouldn’t be a big demand for left-wing groups to disavow Antifa violence wherever it occurs and certainly not to partner with the movement or its supporting organizations.
It seems the Montpelier Foundation has adopted a version of the ‘blame America first’ mantra: Blame the Founders first, instead.
A cynic might conclude the media props up the Southern Poverty Law Center to advance a shared political agenda. That cynic would have some evidence to support the theory.
