A federal grand jury just indicted the other three officers present at George Floyd’s arrest. Why is the Justice Department involving itself in this local police matter?
In the memo obtained by The Federalist, Burns celebrated the guilty verdict as “one step forward” and encouraged the agency prioritize “accountability.”
President Joe Biden continues to be branded as the unity figure — but his support of critical race theory completely debunks this narrative.
The mural features a group of people wearing hoods and holding up a sign that says “I can’t breathe” in front of what appears to be a building on fire.
That the U.S. justice system punished Derek Chauvin shows both the promise of America and the hollowness of critical race theory.
Anti-police rage is also endangering Americans: ‘A lot of officers are leaving. We don’t have anybody applying to be officers here, so we are lowering standards to get numbers up.’
The narratives perpetuated by reporters, activists, and others who choose to ignore the facts, are doing the opposite of justice.
“I did not want to go through rioting and destruction again and I was concerned about people coming to my house if they were not happy with the verdict,” the juror said.
“Justice is as old as the ideas that built our society,” Domenech said, but many on the left, including Joe Biden, don’t understand how justice works.

Georgetown University sent an email to staff and students prior to the Derek Chauvin conviction claiming Georg Floyd was murdered because of racial bias.
The White House condemned the Tuesday police shooting of a black teenage girl who charged another with a knife as gunshots motivated by racism.
“Chauvin is headed to jail, but is America headed to justice?” Ibram X. Kendi asked. “Is justice convicting a police officer or is justice convicting America?”
School districts are scrambling to appeal to the mobs who say Chauvin’s conviction isn’t enough with woke messages and more critical race theory.
A fair trial might have come to the same conclusion. But we’ll never know, and never be able to trust this outcome, because America’s left purposefully made a fair trial impossible.
While Derek Chauvin has been convicted of murdering George Floyd, make no mistake. It won’t appease the left at all. In fact, they’re emboldened.
The University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Penn., decried ‘systemic racism’ in an email to the community and said we need ‘equity,’ not equality.
