There is more evidence that the man leading our nation sold out his country to enrich his family than there ever was in the FBI’s Russian collusion witch hunt; the corrupt corporate media simply doesn’t care enough to hold the current president accountable.
Whistleblower testimony documenting how the Department of Justice repeatedly interfered with an IRS investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax crimes to rig the election for the elder Biden broke on Thursday morning. Yet the propaganda press largely ignored the bombshell, which confirmed Hunter received a sweetheart plea deal in favor of news like the demise of the Titan submersible.
The outlets that eventually did cover the bombshell also quickly amplified Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Friday claims that the whistleblower lied about U.S. Attorney David Weiss being denied a special counsel by the DOJ.
The same thing happened just a few weeks prior. Corrupt corporate media spent hours praising the Biden administration’s partisan indictment of its number one political enemy, former President Donald Trump but offered no amplification to the GOP’s crucial Biden bribery scandal findings.
In fact, media shills like Poynter pretended that the propaganda press acted justly because it still gave the news of Hunter’s tax and gun charges “proper attention.”
“They covered it like it was a big deal. But not like they covered Donald Trump’s indictment a week ago,” the article continued. “And that makes sense, of course. Because it wasn’t as big of a deal as that. One is the son of a president who is pleading guilty to not paying his taxes on time. The other was the president and is a presidential candidate charged with taking classified documents and putting national security at risk.”
The big news at the time wasn’t just that Hunter was handed a sweetheart deal by the DOJ, allowing him to escape the fate of 94.2 percent of those charged and convicted of a firearm felony like his face.
It was that a credible confidential human source alleged that, while VP Biden took a $10 million bribe from an executive at his son’s Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Republicans who have spent months uncovering the president’s corruption say there are tapes proving contact between Joe and the Burisma executive.
If corporate media really cared about “national security,” as Poynter suggests, their sights would be set on the Bidens.
Too Little, Too Late
For years, corporate media enabled Biden family corruption by refusing to ask tough questions about Hunter.
There is no doubt — and hasn’t been since the discovery of the younger Biden’s incriminating laptop — that Hunter sold access to his father, then the vice president, in exchange for money to fund the Biden family’s lavish lifestyle.
Yet, Big Tech and corporate media didn’t just collectively nuke stories from October 2020 detailing what was found on Hunter’s laptop. They also sold a lie packaged from the Biden campaign that the laptop was Russian disinformation. Recall that one in six Biden voters said they would have changed their vote if they had known about his numerous scandals.
The president repeatedly lied about his knowledge of Hunter’s overseas business dealings (and continues to do so to this day) but reports detailing that Joe, while he was still vice president, met with more than a dozen of Hunter’s business associates in the West Wing of the White House also proved the president’s feigned innocence wrong. So did receipts indicating that the Bidens were paid by oligarchs and businessmen in countries that have a vested interest in meddling with US affairs through diluted payments deposited in several bank accounts.
The corporate media’s rigorous attempts to ignore or downplay this evidence only continued.
More recently, a threatening text uncovered in an IRS whistleblower’s testimony only further confirms that the Biden family leveraged Joe, “the man sitting next to me and every person he knows,” to ensure “promises and assurances” from rich foreign nationals were kept.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” the message from Hunter to Chinese businessman Henry Zhao, a member of the Chinese Communist Party, reads. “I am very concerned that the Chairman has either changed his mind and broken our deal without telling me or that he is unaware of the promises and assurances that have been made that have not been kept.”
This text came 10 days before a Chinese energy company sent millions of dollars to a bank account linked to Hunter.
Now that certain facets of the Biden bribery scheme can no longer be ignored, some of the press are beginning to ask questions about the president’s involvement in the ongoing scandal.
Their questions are years and election cycles too late, and the Biden administration knows it. That’s why, when confronted by reporters about the damning text on Friday, the White House and members of the president’s cabinet refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing.
John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, blatantly declined to admit the president and his team lied.
“If you’re going to ask about this … I am not going to address this issue from this podium. I’m just not,” Kirby said.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre similarly spurned any attempts to get to the bottom of Joe’s connection to Hunter’s arm-twisting of a CCP official.
Meanwhile, Garland claimed criticizing the integrity of the DOJ and FBI, something a majority of Americans do, is an attack on “American democracy.”
The real attack, of course, is being carried out by the DOJ, the FBI, and the corrupt corporate media which have repeatedly proven they will do anything, including eroding Americans’ constitutional rights to ensure their partisan agenda is accomplished. For their actions, they have permanently lost the trust of Americans.
