Today during a live CBS News radio segment, radio anchor Gary Nunn labeled Fox News an “alt-right” website and said Russian propagandists are using its work to benefit President Trump. The alt-right label has become synonymous with white supremacy following rioting and the death of three Americans in Charlottesville, Virginia, earlier this month, during a clash between violent leftists and neo-Nazi agitators.

After a tease saying “Donald Trump is apparently getting some support from Russia,” Nunn responded, “an array of so-called ‘alt-right’ websites, including Breitbart and Fox News, they’ve all become regular features highlighted by a network of several hundred Russian Twitter accounts, all a part of a propaganda blitz aimed at American audiences friendly to President Trump, bashing Democrats…. intended to amplify messages that benefit the president in some way.”
