Eric Garland, the rabid anti-Trumper who is known on Twitter for his erratic tweet storms, has a wacko conspiracy theory about why Kanye West has warmed up to Donald Trump. He thinks it’s because the “Gold Digger” rapper has been compromised by Russian agents.
Yes, really.
Kanye's recent coordinations with Trump, along with his use of inflammatory rhetoric and symbols (Confederate Flag) reek of "provokatsiya."

Garland pointed to Kanye’s visit with Russian clothing designers as evidence that the Kremlin got its hooks into the rapper’s Twitter account.

He also mentioned Kanye’s trip to Trump Tower to meet then-President Elect Trump.

MSNBC contributor and self-proclaimed leader of #TheResistance Scott Dworkin also perpetuated the theory on Wednesday night.
I'm not saying Kanye West is involved at all in the #TrumpRussia scandal.
But I AM saying he has Russian ties, and was there right after the 2016 election. https://t.co/CWl8LsBWml

He tweeted a photo of Kanye and Kim Kardashian West with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner at a gala in 2014.
