Four conservative groups are launching a coalition to safeguard America’s “constitutional order” from the rising tide of Islam and its left-wing political allies, The Federalist has learned. The newly formed Alliance for Islamic Remigration, announced Wednesday, will develop legislation and legal strategies to address the Islamification of culture in the United States, while educating Americans on one of the most pressing cultural and political issues of the day.
The Center for Renewing America, the American Accountability Foundation, the Oversight Project, and the American Strategy Group formed the alliance to “shin[e] a light on the forces working to destroy American culture, erase Western understandings of human freedom, and eradicate the constitutional order that protects both,” according to a press release announcing the alliance. Wade Miller (executive director, Center for Renewing America), Tom Jones (president, American Accountability Foundation), Mike Howell (president, Oversight Project), and Brian Kennedy (president, American Strategy Group) released a statement outlining the group’s purpose and the issues it seeks to address.
“Islam’s growing presence in the United States is a scaled threat to Western civilization and to the high-trust Christian culture liberty requires,” the leaders said. “It is a political ideology of total control whose core tenet is conquest of non-believers through institutional capture, social pressure, intimidation, and violence. The 3,000-plus mosques here function as outposts of that project.” The statement went on to sum up the new initiative’s mission: “The Alliance for Islamic Remigration will work to educate Americans on the daily instances of the radicalization of mainstream Islam within America, its alliance with Marxists/Communists, while uplifting those in the movement who are already exposing this problem, and while we work towards legislative and legal remedies.”
The rapid proliferation of mosques in the U.S. has garnered the attention of concerned Americans who have flooded city meetings to voice concerns about the spread of Islamic ideology. In some cases, Muslims have not merely presented mosques as new construction projects, but have emphasized the replacement of Christian churches.
The Alliance for Islamic Remigration statement also pointed out how Democrats are teaming up with Islam in a “growing left-wing political coalition of neo-Marxist progressives and Muslims” to achieve political victories over the right. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and U.S. congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier — all Democrats — are recent examples of left-wing Muslims who have risen to positions of power, joining a reported 250 Muslims holding elected office across the country.
While Democrats and legacy media figures have consistently muted open dialogue about the compatibility of Islam and America’s constitutional republic, the Alliance for Islamic Remigration staked out a clear position: “We need to move past artificial and misleading demarcations between a ‘good’ form of Islam and a ‘bad’ corruption that has nothing to do with real Islam.” The statement went on to criticize President George W. Bush’s effort in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks to convince Americans that “Islam is a religion of peace.”
“This is not true,” the leaders said. “Islam is in fact not a religion of peace, and though individual outliers may exist, that does not change the fact that mainstream and doctrinal adherence to the Koran poses an existential threat to the liberties of all Americans. As such, public policy must address that threat at scale.”
The number of Muslims and mosques in the United States has more than doubled since 2001, as both Democrat and Republican administrations have overseen haphazard immigration policies that ignored cultural and ideological differences. Muslim populations are heavily concentrated in parts of New York, Michigan, Texas, Illinois, California, and other states. Mass migration, lack of assimilation, and stark cultural and ideological differences have sparked fierce discussions about First Amendment rights, immigration policy, Sharia Law, and related issues.
The Alliance for Islamic Remigration’s initial statement articulated a framework for approaching such issues, stating that “the Constitution is not a suicide pact.”
Americans can use existing legal and statutory tools to push back against this ideological invasion. Americans should continue to defend a color-blind constitution that does not discriminate on the basis of race. They should recognize the dead-end of universalist fantasies that coerce Muslims in their own countries to change their way of life. But the problem we address is not how Muslims live in their own countries in other parts of the world. It is within America. The increased Islamization of American society places pressure on what non-Muslims within the United States say, do, act, or think.
