CNN’s Don Lemon went on a bizarre rant Sunday night accusing President Donald Trump of possessing a severe aversion to his predecessor because Michelle Obama is apparently prettier and more accomplished than First Lady Melania Trump.
“What is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin?” Lemon asked rhetorically to kick off his creepy monologue filled with awkward silences.
Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better educated? Made it on his own? Didn’t need daddy’s help? Wife is more accomplished, better looking? I don’t know, what is it? What is it about him? That he’s a black man that’s accomplished, became president, that he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing. What is it about him? Just wondering.

Melania is the only first lady in almost 200 years to be born outside of the United States, and she is the only first lady whose first language was not English. When she began modeling in Europe in the 1980s, she learned to speak five different languages, making her the most linguistically gifted first lady in American history.
This isn’t the first time mainstream reporters who masquerade as objective journalists have dogged fashion-model-turned-First Lady Melania’s looks while offering gushing praise of Michelle Obama’s fashion choices.
In December, the Trump-resistance Washington Post offered a lukewarm compliment of the White House Christmas decorations only to dedicate an entire page to trashing the first lady’s wardrobe choices which happened to match last year’s theme.
“Melania Trump’s Christmas decorations are lovely, but that coat looks ridiculous,” Post fashion critic Robin Givhan titled her happy holiday piece. Givhan chastised Melania Trump’s outfit as “cold” and “dismissive” even though the scandalous white coat which has become the first lady’s signature look performed in perfect harmony with the decoration theme “Spirit of America” where white is the primary color.
A look back into Lemon’s past reporting shows a journalist who is just as serious:
