Rebeccah Heinrichs joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour for a discussion on what exactly is happening with protestors in Hong Kong and China’s response.

“The Chinese government has been trying to make it seem like it’s the CIA that’s causing this and that it actually isn’t a problem,” Heinrichs said. “It’s embarrassing for Xi to have all of these people protesting him and his government and so he’s trying to make it seem as though it’s from outside pressure.”

They also discuss the U.K. under the new leadership of Boris Johnson, Trump’s foreign policy, and foreign policy weaknesses of the 2020 democratic candidates. Heinrichs is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute where she specializes in nuclear deterrence and missile defense.
