In the latest episode of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” the host accused a young man of having a “Nazi” haircut, even though, in reality, Kyle Coddington is a #NeverTrumper with brain cancer.
The show sent cast member Mike Rubens to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference in February and spliced together a video showing all the absurdities he encountered at the annual event. A minute into the clip, a narrator says they saw lots of “Nazi” haircuts and showed a montage of young men who had their hair clipped short or shaved on the sides. Among those was Coddington, who appears sitting at his laptop at the 1-minute mark.
His sister, Megan Coddington, tweeted out a screen cap of her brother, who is seated at his computer on the left, and called out Samantha Bee’s show for implying he’s a Nazi sympathizer because of his hair style.

In a tweet dated Nov. 7, 2016, Megan asks for her followers to pray for her brother, who she says has a tumor on his brain stem.

Kyle has written several pieces for the online publication, Outset Magazine, which posted a link to a GoFundMe page to raise money for his medical expenses on its Facebook page.
According to the GoFundMe page, Kyle was diagnosed with a “very aggressive type of brain cancer” in December, 2016.
He writes:
It seems that I have stage 4 glioblastoma. It’s a very aggressive type of brain cancer. Currently, there is no cure, but there is a chance. The doctor said it all depends on how hard we go after it, and how my body responds to the treatment. I fully believe that God is still in the miracle-making business as well! I’m putting complete trust in God and I know regardless of the outcome, I’ll be healed one way or another! Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks ya’ll!
It appears Kyle is also a sympathizer to the #NeverTrump movement, as he updated his Facebook page’s cover photo to an image that reads “#NeverTrump” July, 2016.
So not only did Samantha Bee’s show mischaracterize Kyle as having a “Nazi” haircut and by implication suggesting he has sympathies with white nationalism and the so-called Alt-Right movement, which has aligned itself with Donald Trump, but they also completely left out the real reason he has that haircut in the first place — an aggressive brain tumor.
Nice work, Samantha Bee. You always somehow manage to make yourself look bad while ineffectively opposing Donald Trump. At this rate, you just might help him win a second term in office.
