The White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) proved once again it values resistance activism over honest reporting Tuesday after it bestowed its Aldo Beckman Award for Overall Excellence in White House Coverage to PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor.
“This year’s winners represent the best of the kind of journalism America needs now more than ever — fact-based reporting that holds those in power accountable without fear or favor,” said WHCA President Jonathan Karl in a statement rolling out this year’s journalism awards.
That’s a rich line when applied to Alcindor, who this year has proved herself the mascot of what it means to be an exhaustively woke left-wing reporter masquerading around the nation’s capital as an objective, truth-seeking journalist. Just last week, Alcindor, whose job is funded by taxpayer dollars, tried (and failed) to fact-check President Donald Trump on the claim that rioters were “anarchists.”

Anarchists aside, Alcindor has continued to rack up high-profile clashes with the president this year to showcase her dedication to providing partisan commentary in the wake of one crisis while perpetuating another, taking every opportunity to tie anything she can back to demonizing American society as racist.
During an April White House coronavirus press briefing, Alcindor accused U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams, who is black, of being racist for employing terms commonly used in his own family. In another coronavirus briefing in March, Alcindor repeated charges of the Chinese propaganda machine, characterizing phrases that link the novel Wuhan coronavirus to its origins in the Hubei Province as discriminatory.
“There are some, at least one White House official who used the term ‘Kung Flu,’ referring to the fact that this virus started in China. Is that acceptable? Is it wrong?” Alcindor asked Trump without ever naming the person to whom she was referring.
“No, not at all,” Trump said. “It comes from China.”
One has to wonder whether Alcindor also takes issue with other diseases named after places or people. Probably not, but here are 17 of them.
Alcindor is as much a journalist as Nikole Hannah-Jones of the 1619 Project is a historian. Both believe they’re doing something righteous in the face of abject racism, when really they’re just breeding division through deceit. By perpetuating a left-wing narrative to rewrite American history as an irredeemably racist empire, in which every facet of every institution was built for the sole purpose of oppressing black people, Alcindor and Hannah-Jones have weaponized race to cater to the demands of a Marxist movement.
When it comes to “defunding the police,” the latest mantra of the contemporary civil rights movement under the banner of Black Lives Matter, Alcindor said “defunding police” does not actually mean “defunding the police” — just like “abolish ICE” never meant “abolish ICE.” While we’re talking about budget cuts, it might be a good time to explore defunding Planned Parenthood. After all, nearly 20 million black babies have been aborted since Roe v. Wade in 1973. Meanwhile, the Minneapolis City Council pledged Sunday it had a veto-proof majority to dismantle the city’s police department.
Naturally, Alcindor’s commentary also checks the box for promoting the grand Russia collusion hoax and deceptively editing statements from Trump to make the president look deviant, in addition to the recurring shouting matches she attempts to engage in with Orange Man Bad. Let’s not forget that just this week, Alcindor raised a fuss over sitting close to fellow reporters in the resistance trenches after taking no issue with the mass demonstrations sweeping the nation.
