Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who currently serves as National Security Adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, reamed John Bolton on Thursday for lying to President Trump by presenting falsified information, as well as prioritizing his own interests before that of the administration or America.

“John Bolton, I believe, is actually an architect of failure,” Kellogg said. “He had his own agenda. He pushed his own agenda.”

In the interview on “Special Report with Bret Baier” on Fox News, Kellogg explained that John Bolton not only “fabricated information” about other nations like Iran, but also “single-handedly destroyed Afghan negotiations.”

“His comments are absurd,” he stated.

“I have been in the room a lot longer than he has. I have been with the president ever since he came into the White House,” Kellogg said, referring to Bolton’s book title, “The Room Where It Happens.”

Kellogg dismantled the Obama-Biden administration’s failed foreign policies, saying that the difference between the current administration’s handling of foreign policy and Obama-Biden’s is “significant.” He also criticized Joe Biden for being opposed to the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.

“I think the contrasts are quite clear and I am very, very proud of our record and compared to his,” Kellogg said.

Kellogg spoke on night three of the Republican National Convention Wednesday, commending President Trump for his ability to handle difficult decisions about foreign policy and national security.

“I know leadership, I know decision making, and I’ve seen the response to that,” Kellogg said.
