Charlamagne tha God, host of the radio show “The Breakfast Club,” said former Vice President Joe Biden should “shut the eff up forever” and named Biden the show’s “Donkey of the Day” after the Democratic nominee claimed Trump is the first “racist” president.

“As soon as he opens his mouth and makes noise, he gets us all killed,” the radio personality said of Biden on Friday. “How the hell can Donald Trump be the first racist president in a country where 12 presidents before him owned slaves?”

Biden claimed in a town hall event on Wednesday that Trump was the first racist president of the United States, insisting that “no sitting president has ever done this.”

As Charlamagne pointed out, 12 American presidents were slaveowners. Additionally, Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt rounded up Japanese-Americans into internment camps during World War II, Democratic President Lyndon Johnson was a racist who routinely used the n-word, and Democratic President Woodrow Wilson screened the pro-KKK film “Birth of a Nation” in the White House.

“People aren’t enthused about Biden,” Charlamagne added. “When Joe Biden says certain things, he causes even more of a lack of enthusiasm.”

Charlamagne also said he personally wouldn’t be excited about casting a vote for Biden. “Joe, you got to hurry up and announce your Black woman VP so I can be enthused about voting for her,” he said. “Because I will never be enthused about voting for you.”

Charlamagne previously hosted Biden on his program, “The Breakfast Club,” on May 22, when Biden told the host “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

In the wake of that comment, Charlamagne called out Biden’s past and said he needed “some action” from the Democratic nominee. “Biden’s record in the Senate actually reflects very racist legislation,” he told CNN.
