On this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour, Ramesh Ponnuru and Ben Domenech discuss the life and Presidency of George H.W. Bush, as well as shifts in the Republican party since his time in office. Ponnuru also talks current domestic policy issues, Senator Romney, and the state of conservatism.
“I think conservatism is spending down a lot of it’s inherited intellectual and moral capital these days. That there hasn’t been a replenishment, and I don’t mean that to be a Trump-centered comment,” Ponnuru said.
Ramesh Ponnuru is a Bloomberg Opinion columnist and senior editor at National Review.
