Randy Barnett is a Professor of Legal Theory at the Georgetown University Law Center and author of, “Our Republican Constitution: Securing the Liberty and Sovereignty of We the People.” Barnett joins Ben Domenech to dive into SCOTUS Nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s judicial record. They discuss 4th amendment issues, John Roberts, and what to expect from the hearings in August.

“John Roberts is going to like being the swing justice, but will he want to limit or reverse Planned Parenthood v. Casey? My own gut tells me…that’s he’s not going to want to,” Barnett said. “What you are going to see, I think, is increase in deference to local legislation that puts restrictions and regulations on abortion.”
