Ted Cruz’s daughters really want their dad to become president so they can invite Taylor Swift to the White House.
During CNN’s Townhall Wednesday night, Heidi Cruz said that her daughters — Caroline and Catherine — want their first White House guest to be the “1989” singer. The girls, who were dressed in matching yellow dresses and sporting white hair ribbons, smiled demurely and blushed in response.
When asked which of Swift’s songs are her favorite, Caroline answered: “My three favorites are ‘Bad Blood,’ ‘Blank Space,’ and ‘Wildest Dreams.'”

The girls also revealed there is a lot of competitive singing in the Cruz home. After their dad explained that the girls have matching karaoke machines they use to sing together, Caroline shut him down.
“We don’t sing together,” she said while wagging her finger at her dad. “It does not match.”
“But you do sometimes!” Ted insisted.
“Well I stop singing because she [Catherine] over sings me,” Caroline explained.
