On this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour, Senior Correspondent John Davidson, describes what he saw at the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley. Davidson rides along with Border Patrol officers and visits a Catholic charity respite center in downtown McAllen, Texas.

“When we think about the immigration debate and we think about the border, we have to stop thinking about a wall…or that more Border Patrol agents, or more gear and equipment are going to stop it,” Davidson tells Domenech.

“The only way you are going to reduce incentives for people to uproot their lives and travel 2000 miles to come to the U.S. is to do something about the conditions in those countries.”
