Senior writer Mary Katharine Ham appeared on CNN’s “New Day” on Friday morning to discuss the sexual harassment accusations against former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. Ham spoke out about her years as a Fox News contributor on O’Reilly’s show.

“I worked with Bill for almost 10 years, weekly, and nothing bordering on sexually inappropriate with him,” Ham said. “Our relationship was frustrating. He was often paternalistic. Sometimes it was a fine relationship, but you can see that mostly I worked it out on camera by yelling at him.”

Ham said whether women are victimized or not, no woman deserves the questions or odd interactions at the workplace. “If we are turning a corner, it’s seeing that women can deal with these issues and move forward with their careers, and having that modeled in a really public way.”

Ham appeared weekly on “The O’Reilly Factor,” often engaging in heated debates with O’Reilly.
