A new video from the Center for Medical Progress catches one of Planned Parenthood’s abortionists revealing that she regularly alters abortion procedures in order to harvest more viable, and more valuable, organs from the aborted babies.

Amna Dermish, an abortionist for Planned Parenthood in Austin, Texas, explains in the video that she will sometimes use ultrasound guidance to position the baby to come out feet first, or what’s called “breech presentation,” in order to keep more of the child’s organs intact for prospective buyers.

Altering an abortion procedure in the manner that Dermish describes is considered to be a partial-birth abortion, which is illegal in all states.

In Texas, Planned Parenthood recently was banned from receiving Medicaid funds from the state because of the serial health and legal violations revealed by CMP’s undercover videos.

The health inspector general’s notice to Planned Parenthood states that the organization’s practice of altering the standard of care to procure fetal tissue “violate[s] accepted medical standards, as reflected in federal law” and is therefore a “Medicaid program violation[] that justif[ies] termination.”

“My aim is usually to get the specimens out pretty intact,” Dermish said. “Especially the 20-weekers are a lot harder versus the 18-weekers, so at that point I’ll switch to breech.”

Her description of altering the baby’s position to pull it out feet first mirrors what Deborah Nucatola, another senior abortionist at Planned Parenthood, said in earlier videos.

Federal law states that “no alteration of the timing, method, or procedures used to terminate the pregnancy was made solely for the purpose of obtaining the tissue.”

Yet both Nucatola and Dermish described using ultrasound guidance and putting the baby in breech for the express purpose of obtaining more valuable organs from the child.

“I trained her [Nucatola]!” Dermish said.

She also remarked that babies’ spines are easy to grab ahold of with forceps and rip out of the womb, especially when she’s trying to keep all of the organs intact.

“I try to always keep the trunk [lower half of the body] intact just by function of always trying to aim for the spine to try and bring it down,” she said. “I haven’t been able to do that [extract an intact brain] yet… This will give me something to strive for!”
