They weren’t held accountable when Steve Scalise was nearly murdered, weren’t held accountable when Donald Trump was nearly assassinated twice, weren’t held accountable this year when Antifa was attacking ICE, or Charlie Kirk was murdered. In fact, they even doubled down on Jay Jones, who wants to murder Republicans. So it’s very easy for Chris Murphy to try and deflect from his own party’s extremism by pointing fingers at Donald Trump, and what better place to do it than CNN with Dana Bash.”
