It’s officially June, and you know what that means! Nearly every major corporation, sports team, and institution is trying to out-gay one another to show their fidelity to the LGBT religion as part of the grossly named “Pride Month.”
From Major League Baseball to the Washington Commanders, companies dutifully doused their logos in rainbow colors to show solidarity with “the cause” and appease the wrath of mentally deranged LGBT activists. And naturally, these little paint jobs were accompanied by the dumbest struggle session statements imaginable.
“From the bleachers to the ballfield and everywhere in between … Baseball is for everyone. #Pride,” reads an MLB tweet that includes a picture of its gay-ified logo.
Such rhetoric is ironic as it is stupid. Not only are there no MLB teams denying gay or trans-identifying people access to their games because of their sexual orientation or how they “identify,” but a Washington Nationals executive was just fired after he openly bragged about discriminating against one of the team’s Christian players.
So much for baseball being “for everyone.”
But let’s not give all the credit to corporations and sports teams. Legacy media hacks also deserve recognition for advancing this idiocy throughout American culture.
The San Francisco Chronicle’s Ann Killion threw her hat in the ring for “Dumbest Column of the Week” with her new article, in which she amplified baseless fears that LGBT soccer fans are at risk of “arrest, detention and deportation” if they travel to attend the World Cup in the United States. She notably put America on par with past World Cup host countries like Qatar, which criminalizes homosexual activity and imposes severe punishments on lawbreakers.
Once again, the stupidity is palpable.
But for the left, none of these “Pride Month” celebrations or commentaries have to make sense or be grounded in any semblance of truth. After all, the entire concept of “Pride Month” itself is grounded in a war against truth — that is, that “marriage” is between a man and a woman and that biological sex is unchangeable.
“Pride Month” attempts to destroy these universal truths by “reimagining” them into something completely at odds with reality itself. We’re told “marriage” can be between two men or two women, and that biological sex is a choice wherein men can “transition” into becoming women and vice versa.
None of it is rational. It’s all completely ludicrous. And yet, it’s the loony tune fantasy that “pride month” advocates demand we adhere to.
Anyone who dares to question this reality rewrite or oppose its forced imposition on an entire population (like many faithful Christians do) finds himself bombarded with accusations of “homophobia” and “transphobia” from radical LGBT activists. These supposedly “tolerant” individuals also deliver a hefty dose of emotional blackmail to bully those daring independent minds into kneeling before their rainbow-colored idol.
“Little Timmy is going to kill himself unless you let a ‘doctor’ cut off his private parts and pump him full of harmful chemicals,” or so the pro-“trans” talking points go.
Companies indulging this radicalism may have leaders who genuinely support the LGBT agenda. Others may be going along as to avoid potential backlash from rabid LGBT activists.
Whatever the real reason may be, these annual, corporate-wide “pride” commemorations show (once again) that there is no such thing as a neutral institution. Entities like MLB will either be dominated by what is true, good, and beautiful, or they will succumb to and promote the type of sinful lies that are given their own special month out of the year.
There is no in-between.
Whether these institutions are restored to the former will depend on the courage of the American people and their willingness to reject the latter when confronted with it. Unless and until that happens, the annual rainbow waterboarding will continue unabated.
