The American left is made up of the most tolerant, loving, and accepting people imaginable — that is, unless you step out of line with their demented worldview. Unfortunately for New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, he’s having to find out that reality the hard way.
The young NFL star has come under undeserved attack after he had the audacity to — wait for it — introduce the sitting president of the United States at a recent event in New York.
“What an honor; what a privilege it is to be here,” Dart told attendees before welcoming President Trump on stage.
Dart didn’t discuss any policies while he was there. Nor did he make any remarks there that were even close to being political. He simply introduced the leader of the free world to New Yorkers and then left.
But his appearance alongside the man leftists malign as “Hitler” was enough to get these morons in a tizzy. From sports media hacks to the shrieking harpies on The View, the intelligence-deprived left couldn’t contain their unbridled anger at the Giants quarterback and his benign introduction of the president.
One of Dart’s teammates, linebacker Abdul Carter, childishly lashed out at his quarterback on X over the matter before then trying to gaslight everyone into thinking he played no role in the left’s theatrics. Media acolytes have also gone out of their way to dig into Dart’s social media history and “likes” for Trump-aligned posts.
The entire episode culminated in what can only be described as a Giants-induced “struggle session,” in which team members “squashed any bad blood that might have existed” and sought to “move forward,” according to the New York Post.
But what is exactly is there to “move forward” from? One of their teammates having a mind of his own and deciding to introduce a sitting president at a rally in his capacity as a citizen? Talk about a bunch of whiny men.
It’s safe to assume there were no team meetings held when NBA players Steph Curry and LeBron James made appearances alongside Democrats like Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, respectively. Nor was there any left-wing outrage when former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick went political by kneeling during the national anthem to protest “police brutality” — while in uniform.
Many Americans will understandably characterize this as yet another example of the left being hypocritical. But it’s more than that. It’s about hierarchy.
Leftists view anyone who is Republican (or even associates with Republicans) as a lesser-than person who has no right to independent thought or an ability to express views that contradict their own. Anyone who doesn’t adhere to this authoritarian hierarchy must be vilified and ostracized as to ensure such “wrongthink” doesn’t happen again. (See the media’s meltdown responding to the U.S. men’s hockey team’s appearance at the State of the Union.)
At the end of the day, Jaxson Dart has nothing to apologize for. His actions don’t amount to a “controversy” in the slightest.
His only “crime” was thinking for himself. And in an industry filled with sissy men and unhinged women, that is (sadly) unacceptable.
