Breaking News Alert Republican Senator Introduces Federal Ban On Mutilating Trans Procedures For Children

The Beatings Will Continue Until The Right Imposes Costs For Cancellation Attempts

When you’re dealing with a terrorist or a bully, the only way to make him stop is to make his aggression not worth it any more.

A new wave of leftist repression against their political opponents hit last week in two high-profile incidents. The first was crowdsourcing platform GoFundMe’s attempt to steal approximately $10 million from people across the world who donated to support a Freedom Convoy of truckers protesting Covid tyranny in Canada. The second was Michelle Malkin publishing the news that Airbnb has banned her and her husband from their platform over her political views.

GoFundMe initially claimed it would redirect the funds collected for the truckers’ protest to “charities” of their own choosing.

After Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Friday they would investigate GoFundMe for fraud if it did not return donors’ money, GoFundMe agreed to return the donations. Meanwhile, the truckers’ fundraising campaign moved to the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo, which then faced an onslaught of hacking attacks.

Numerous commentators noted that GoFundMe has assisted fundraising campaigns for violent leftist political groups such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa. Unlike chronic confirmed violence from those two international political agitation groups, authorities have not publicly substantiated claims that convoy participants have perpetrated violence. Participants in the convoy have repeatedly affirmed their intentions to protest peacefully.

At the very least, it is clear that neither government officials nor big tech infrastructure platforms are giving these anti-leftist protesters the same benefit of the doubt they always give leftist protesters. Just think about the Portland radicals allowed to firebomb federal courthouses for months. Nothing even close to that is happening in Ottawa.

By now, we’re all used to these double standards that always cut only one way. It’s not an accident, it’s a pattern. And these kind of cancel culture beatings will continue until people on the right have the guts to start standing up for themselves and their team, and imposing costs on the leftist culture war aggressors.

When you’re dealing with a terrorist or a bully, the only way to make him stop is to make his aggression not worth it any more. That means making his aggression unsuccessful and costly. If our elected officials won’t do it, we the people should do it ourselves, and replace benchwarmers with lawmakers who will use their power for good.

Malkin is raising funds to support a lawsuit against Airbnb. Lawsuits and uses of the administrative state to gum up its works are one way to impose costs on leftist culture aggressors. Others would include defunding the institutions they control, such as K-12 schools, colleges, and administrative agencies. Still others include turning the deep state on itself by filing complaints and revealing its secrets through investigative reporting, lawsuit discovery, and open records requests.

This is the offensive strategy the right needs to employ in tandem with accelerating their building of parallel institutions to comprise a freedom economy within the bureaucratized economy. But these institutions need defenders if they are to not become just another target for leftist takeover and cancellation. We both need our own replacement institutions and to wage political and cultural war on the institutions that give leftists their overweening power.

People have to get off their couches and realize that there’s nowhere to run and hide. The left is going to come for you and your kids no matter where you live. You can’t hide, you have to fight.

We live in an all hands on deck time. Every person needs to do whatever it is that he can do to build new institutions and fight leftist control of the corrupted ones. If you’re a lawyer, use those skills to help people like Malkin, on the principle of the thing, not because you necessarily agree with everything she’s ever said. Legally fight some leftist target for illegally harassing everyday patriotic Joes like these truckers.

If you’re a parent, get your kids a great education and show up at those school board meetings to impose pain on the board members hurting other people’s kids with your tax dollars. If you’re a business owner, hire people who got canceled for being a Christian or opposed to medical tyranny, and make sure they can put food on their kids’ tables. Get involved with your local chamber of commerce and threaten to pull your supporting funds if they try to go woke. If you can code, help defend conservative organizations against DDOS attacks by the leftist mob.

Every institution has to be rebuilt at the commercial and government level. That’s the Parler lesson. It’s not enough only to build a popular, successful alternative, because the parasitic communists will just move one link up the supply chain and cancel that.

Oh, you built a nice GoFundMe alternative? Too bad. Your host says you’re a terrorist, your payment processor says no thanks to Nazis, and ICANN says you don’t even get to have a web address. And good luck against the roving bands of Antifa-esque paramilitary squads who will target for destruction your physical assets and your employees’ lives.

Don’t bother calling the cops, either. They’ve abandoned their precinct because the DA and mayor say all cops are bastards. And forget seeking help from the courts. You don’t have standing or the case is moot or it’s a tax but also not a tax, so shut up, insurrectionist.

This country will not survive as long as the left can Baronelle Stutzman or Jack Phillips whomever and whatever they want at will. That means each and every one of us needs to start doing a skills assessment of what we can personally do to be on offense and defense in the culture war at the same time. Pick a target you think you can hit, and go after it.

It’s okay and probably smart to start small. Everyone can, for example, figure out how to educate his kids better than public schools, and everyone can buy from people who don’t hate freedom.

If your elected representatives will not get in the fight for you, primary them out of office. Play the long game by getting into some little local position and then working your way up until you can beat out some guy who doesn’t use his elected power on behalf of his constituents, like DeSantis does.

The people deserve to have leaders like that, and maybe you’re one of them. Be one in your home first, and then be one wherever else you have or can build the skills to lead. Our futures depend on it.
