President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, bragged about smoking crack with former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry in a recording published by the Daily Mail on Friday.

“You know what, I actually smoked crack with Marion Barry, I swear to f***ng god,'” Hunter is heard on the recording in a 2019 conversation with an unnamed friend.

Hunter, now 51, said he was a junior at Georgetown University at the time he smoked with Barry, who died in 2014. Barry was an infamous addict who spent six months in federal prison following an FBI sting operation in 1990 after he was caught on camera smoking in a hotel room.

In the recording, Hunter explained he met Barry in the bathroom of a local bar and smoked together.

“He used to come there and drink like late, late, and I would be there, and he would go to the bathroom,” Hunter says.

The tape contradicts Hunter’s memoir where he wrote that a teenage arrest scared him from drugs until after college.

Friday’s revelation from the Daily Mail is just the latest drug-scandal to plague the president’s son after the existence of videos featuring Hunter Biden smoking crack with who may have been female escorts became public last fall. The family has been open about Hunter’s addiction and treatment since before his father jumped into the crowded Democrat primary in 2019.

In the same year Joe Biden launched what would eventually be a successful campaign for president, an Arkansas woman named Lunden Alexis Roberts, who was a stripper at a D.C. strip club frequented by Hunter won her case for child support against the presidential candidate’s son.

In a report published in September, Senate investigators accused Hunter Biden of making payments to eastern European hookers who may have been victims of sex trafficking.
