Fox News host Sean Hannity joked Wednesday that President Joe Biden needs to brush up on his golfing abilities after a video went viral of him hitting the ball backwards on a course in Delaware.
“You might want to invest in some golf lessons if you’re going to play,” Hannity said. “See, look at your screen right there. Watch that very closely. Biden struggles on the golf course. In that case, the ball went backwards. I don’t have time to play a lot of golf, Joe, played a few rounds in my day. But I never hit a ball backwards. Hit it out, hit it left, hit it right. Never backwards.”
After the footage of Biden on the golf course went viral, many people took to Twitter and joked about how former President Donald Trump is superior in the sport.

Biden had another gaffe Wednesday when speaking at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy commencement. The president appeared insecure when attendees did not make noise when he botched a joke.
“You are a really dull class,” Biden said. “Come on, man. Is the sun getting to you? I would think you’d have an opportunity when I say that about the Navy to clap. To be here together.”
Biden appears peeved at the lack of applause from Navy cadets.

Similar to the comparisons of Biden’s golf game to Trump’s, people were quick to compare Biden’s botched joke to President Ronald Reagan’s swift delivery that elicited a response 30 years prior. Speaking to cadets in 1988, Reagan was 77 at the time, while Biden is a year older today.
“My Coast Guard aides have been excellent. One of them taught me that, and I quote, ‘The Coast Guard is that hard nucleus about which the Navy forms in time of war,'” Reagan said, to which the cadets cheered.
