James and Kathryn Murdoch together donated more than $1 million to Joe Biden’s campaign in June. Murdoch, the son of Fox News mogul Rupert Murdoch, and his wife each gave $615,000 to a campaign committee that Democrat presidential nominee Biden and the Democratic Party share.

Rupert Murdoch founded the Fox television network, and is now the executive chairman of NewsCorp, a media company that includes the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post.
James Murdoch was the CEO of 21st Century Fox from 2015 until Disney bought the company in 2019. But he’s made it known that he sometimes disagrees with the network’s coverage. He also sits on the NewsCorp board of directors. Before supporting Biden, James Murdoch donated to South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign during the Democrat primary.
The Biden campaign has received many high-dollar donations in addition to those from Murdoch and his wife. More than $53 million of donations made to Biden between April and June came from gifts of $100,000 or more.
President Trump has criticized the Murdochs’ Fox News empire lately, calling it “hard to watch” and claiming their contributors are a “disaster.”
So hard to watch @FoxNews anymore. They are working so hard against the people (viewers) that got them there. Their contributors are a disaster, and all over the place. The Radical Left has scared Fox into submission, just like they have so many others. Sad, but we will WIN!
