On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Club for Growth President and former Indiana Congressman David McIntosh joins Senior Editor Christopher Bedford to discuss the consequences of an economic shutdown and Congressional bailouts amid the coronavirus quarantine.

McIntosh said he is concerned about higher institutions charging exorbitant tuition rates, but cancelling or changing classes students already paid for. He argues the government should adopt a policy to demand institutions refund college students.

“I think you’re seeing students all over the country face a situation where, the colleges are very good about collecting tuition upfront, but they’re not providing the services or the room and board. The government should adopt a policy that says you have to refund [tuition] to people and make them whole when they have received the education or the room and board that they paid for,” McIntosh said.
