Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared to forget words to the Declaration of Independence Monday during a campaign stop in Texas, the day before Super Tuesday primaries.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” Biden began before trailing off to forget the rest of the line. “All men and women created by- go- you know- you know the thing.”

The “thing” of course, is the Declaration of Independence.
Here is the full line that Biden forgot and left out:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
In the same speech, Biden also tried to get voters excited for “Super Thursday,” before correcting himself to “Super Tuesday,” the day 16 states and territories will cast their votes for the Democratic nominating contest this week.
Monday’s slip-ups are just the latest in a series of simple mistakes made by the former vice president that have sewn doubts among voters about his own sharpness at the age at 77-years-old to take on President Donald Trump this fall.

Biden’s speech in Texas comes on the heels of major shifts in the race that stand to benefit Biden as his campaign sees no life in the wake of a 28-point blow out win in South Carolina on Saturday.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar announced Monday afternoon that she would be ending her campaign and would fly to Dallas Monday night to officially endorse Biden on stage. Biden also secured the endorsements of former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice on Monday.
On Sunday, former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who also tried to run in the moderate lane will also be endorsing Biden Monday night.
