On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Senior Editors Mollie Hemingway and David Harsanyi interview Fred Fleitz, a political, military and nuclear weapons analyst, and CEO of the Center for Security Policy. He served in 2018 as a Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump and Chief of Staff to National Security Adviser John Bolton. They discuss denuclearization in North Korea, Russian election meddling, and partisan politics within the intelligence community.
“I think it’s a real concern when the intelligence community acts in a partisan way. It makes the President less willing to listen to them and that’s dangerous,” Fleitz said. “The President has to have the confidence of his intelligence advisers.”
