The Internet uncovered a 1958 McCall’s article titled, “129 Ways to Get a Husband.” On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Mollie Hemingway, Ellie Bufkin, and Emily Jashinsky discuss both their objections to and praises for these outside-the-box ideas on dating.
“I think that even if you’re not ready to get married right at the moment, you should always be marriage-minded,” Hemingway said. “If you’re dating a guy who you would never in a million years marry, that’s just a waste of everyone’s time.”
