Brian Kilmeade is co-host of “Fox & Friends” and author of “Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans: The Battle That Shaped America’s Destiny.” He joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss the biggest surprises of the midterms and the extent of Trump’s influence on the race.
“The whole racism thing is a simpleton approach and it stops all conversation,” Kilmeade said. “With the President and the caravan, did the President maybe make it too much of a cartoon at the end? Yes. But is it sincere? Yes. He ran on that.”
Later in the hour, they talk 2020 presidential candidates, changing voter demographics, and Andrew Jackson.
