While accepting an award at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, Chris Pratt told members of the audience he loved God and they should too.
“I want to thank God,” Pratt said. “I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces. I say ‘I love God.’ That’s my thing. I love Him. And you should too.”
He tag-teamed the acceptance speech with his co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard, for their role in the movie, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” Howard, who could not be at the awards show in person, joined via video chat and revealed that she was wearing pajama bottoms during her appearance.
Sunday night wasn’t the first time Pratt has spoken out about his beliefs onstage. At the MTV awards in June, Pratt talked about Jesus in between poop jokes.
