Parkland high school student Kyle Kashuv says his interview with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin was cancelled because he retweeted an article in which Fox Sports’s Clay Travis called Baldwin a “fake news hypocrite.”

The tweet he says was the offending tweet is below, which links to an article from The Daily Wire.

The Daily Wire item includes a tweet from Travis calling Baldwin a “fake news hypocrite” for inviting for an interview porn creator Alana Evans, who claims Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels invited her to an awkward sexual encounter. Travis was famously banned from Baldwin’s CNN show after he said “boobs” on live TV last September.

Kashuv, a student during a shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida where 17 people were killed last month, is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. He met with President Trump at the White House earlier this month and has publicly backed a bill from Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, called the “Stop School Violence Act.”

In response to Kashuv’s tweet about his interview cancellation, Travis doubled down on calling out Baldwin and CNN for their apparent double standard on “B-double-O-B-S.”
