Carly Fiorina slammed President Obama on Sunday for saying that attending a climate change summit would be a “powerful rebuke” to ISIS.

“It is delusional for President Obama and Hillary Clinton and anyone else to say that climate change is our near-term most severe security threat,” Fiorina said on Fox News Sunday. “It is ISIS, period, followed closely by Iran and perhaps Russia.”

Last week, Obama told reporters that attending the World Climate Summit — which is currently taking place in Paris — would put ISIS in its place. The Obama administration has repeatedly claimed, even in the days leading up to the terrorist attacks in Paris, that climate change is the greatest threat to our nation’s security.

“What a powerful rebuke to the terrorists it will be when the world stands as one and shows that we will not be deterred from building a better future for our children,” Obama said during a recent press conference.

Since the Paris attacks, Obama has proposed no new military strategies to combat ISIS fighters, insisting that the military should continue to deploy arial drone strikes on targets.

“President Obama continues to think that somehow our behavior causes terrorism, so he says the climate change summit is a powerful rebuke. No, it’s not,” Fiorina said on Sunday. “The terrorists don’t care that we’re gathering in Paris other than it provides a target.”

“President Obama is delusional about this,” Fiorina concluded. “He’s delusional about the threat, which apparently is why he won’t do anything about it.”
