The latest video exposing Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the harvesting of human organs from aborted children begins with Dawn Laguens, the executive vice president of Planned Parenthood, saying on MSNBC, “So I think the American people know who Planned Parenthood is and that we are not selling body parts.” Okay, first off, let’s define terms. To sell is “to exchange (something) for money.”
Everything that follows in the tenth video exposes the falsehood of Laguens’ claim. Here are a few of the most devastating moments from the video, which highlights conversations abortion executives had with people they believed to be in the business of purchasing human organs from the victims of abortion.
‘Money For Tissue Is A Valid Exchange’
First up is Vanessa Russo, the compliance program administrator for a Planned Parenthood affiliate in Pennsylvania. She has just left a seminar led by a top Planned Parenthood official encouraging more affiliates to participate in organ harvesting programs, but to be careful about how they do it. Russo wishes she’d been even more enthusiastic about generating money from the body parts of the babies who are killed at their clinics (and read to the end where you see a higher-up Planned Parenthood official respond):
‘A Fair Amount Of Income’
Next up is Deb VanDerhei, the national director of the Consortium of Planned Parenthood Abortion Providers. She claims that some colleagues generate a great deal of income on the sale of human organs from aborted babies.
They Detail Which Human Organs Planned Parenthood Provides
Dr. Carolyn Westhoff, senior medical advisor for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, doesn’t shy away from specific discussions of the human organ trade, specifying which human organs buyers are interested in:
“Certainly everything we provide,” she says.
Later in the video, she specifically says Planned Parenthood hasn’t been working with anyone who wants stem cells, but just with people who want particular tissues. That’s the precursor to the “everything we provide” quote. “We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues,” she says, also mentioning the human spinal cords they produce as part of their abortion business. Does Planned Parenthood provide human organs for cash money? Well, Westhoff says “yes” to the person she believes is in the business and Laguens says “no” to the compliant media.
Again, this Planned Parenthood official talks about what human organs the abortion business provides.
They’re Terrified Of Exposure
Westhoff also says that the head of the Planned Parenthood department focused on abortion has information “at his fingertips” about the capabilities of Planned Parenthood’s participation in the human organ harvesting trade. However, she warns, Planned Parenthood will be extremely worried about the public relations disaster potential if this story were to get out.
Dr. Vanessa Cullins, VP for external medical affairs for Planned Parenthood, shares her worry that exposure of Planned Parenthood’s participation in human organ harvesting could destroy it.
More Evidence It’s Not Just Cost Recuperation
Planned Parenthood says that when it harvests organs from abortion victims for sale, it only recoups costs. During VanDerhei’s first meeting with people she believes to be in the human organ trade, her earliest questions are about how much money is involved. Remember, Planned Parenthood’s story, regurgitated by many in the media, is that they only recoup costs. If that were true, there would be no chats about money, not one moment of negotiation, other than to affirm that the buyer would cover the fixed costs established and clearly articulated by Planned Parenthood. Nothing Planned Parenthood has been exposed as doing thus far supports their claim about costs, from Lamborghini chats to negotiations with various affiliates.
Planned Parenthood Was Really Terrified Of Public Knowing About Their Participation In Human Organ Trade
“We are absent a policy and that’s relatively intentional,” says VanDerhei, adding that the limited policy they have is that:
Dr. Deborah Nucatola, she of salad-munching, liver-crushing fame, confirms the lack of written guidelines. Later on she says the national office is happy to answer questions from affiliates but that the lack of policy is “by choice.”
VanDerhei again shares her concern about media coverage of Planned Parenthood’s participation in the human organ harvesting trade.
VanDerhei notes that organ sales, which aren’t supposed to be done for profit, according to the law, can be “really helpful” to clinics with smaller profit margins. Again, if it were just about recouping costs, the sales wouldn’t help one iota, by definition.
They’re Careful To Avoid Oversight
Planned Parenthood receives some $500 million each year in taxpayer funding. They’re careful to avoid a paper trail for their organ harvesting program.

That’s an inaccurate recounting of history, but let’s just cut to the present. To sum up, Planned Parenthood clearly sells human organs (that is, exchanges them for money), this discussion goes well beyond cost recuperation, they are terrified of media scrutiny of their human organ harvesting trade, and they are terrified of congressional interest in human organ harvesting from aborted children.
