“I just want to address … the fear mongering about voter turnout,” The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman said on CNN NewsNight after a panelist suggested the SAVE America Act would suppress voter turnout due to ID requirements. “When Georgia passed its [so-called] ‘Jim Crow 2.0’ election integrity law which had voter ID, there was actually record high turnout. In fact, CNN did an article, so did the Washington Post, that black voters in particular said it was actually easier to vote this go-around with the voter ID in place than before.”
