“I think one of the problems [for Democrats] with how well it’s gone for D.C. — which … has this particular different legal authority that enables Trump to come through — [is that] it’s working. Crime is decreasing,” said Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway during an interview on Fox News’ America Reports. “It shows what happens when you actually address a problem and put resources behind it. And so, it’s going to make it much harder for Democrat mayors to say there’s nothing you can do when you can so easily see it working in a different city.”
