“President Trump ran on a campaign of repeatedly, openly, and loudly pledging to clean up the mess with the borders and immigration that had been brought around through his predecessor and actually several predecessors. And he won most of the votes in the popular vote,” Federalist Editor-In-Chief Mollie Hemingway said on Fox News’ America Reports. “We have laws on the books about immigration. We have laws on the books about our borders, and [protesting the] enforcing [of] laws that were democratically passed and elected is probably not a winner for Democrats.”
