Richard Burr will be stepping down as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee after the FBI ramped up its investigation into insider trading.
The report is yet another reminder of how the committee helped Democrats and other critics of President Donald Trump perpetuate the now-debunked theory that Trump was a secret Russian agent.
“I’m not aware of it. I saw some names. I know all of them. I know everyone mentioned, Dianne Feinstein I guess, and a couple of others,” Trump said.
A week after the transactions, the economy began to take a sharp turn, and the stock market has declined about 30 percent since.
Burr already let the country down by being AWOL and worse during the Russia collusion hoax that was perpetrated on the country.
Burr’s proposal calls for an unequal application of the income tax and would hurt predominantly minority student-athletes.
Republicans had an opportunity to make a compelling argument against the president’s unilateral governance. Now, they are complicit in it.
Conservative proposals are now measured, in part, by the degree to which they deviate from ObamaCare, rather than the pre-ObamaCare system.
