After the release of the Department of Justice’s inspector general report, former FBI Director James Comey finally admitted he’s been misleading the country about the FBI’s integrity and reliability.
During the Senate Judiciary hearings with Michael Horowitz, it was uncovered that the FBI lied to Congress about briefing the Trump campaign in 2016.
Michael Horowitz said the DOJ Inspector General report findings did not vindicate the FBI’s actions or absolve former FBI Director James Comey from wrongdoing.
It is evident James Comey lied to Bret Baier about his knowledge of the DNC and the Clinton campaign’s funding of Christopher Steele’s illegitimate dossier.
The Department of Justice on Thursday accused former FBI director James Comey of providing false testimony under oath to the U.S. Senate.
In his prepared statement, James Comey admits that President Trump was not being investigated, that Comey told the president and Congress as much, and that Comey deliberately refused to inform the public of those facts.
