Corporate Media’s Kamala Coverup Is Next-Level Election Interference

It’s the Hunter Biden laptop scandal all over again as the usual accomplice media suspects protect Harris from herself.

In the closing weeks of the 2020 presidential election, the Deep State, Big Tech and corporate media teamed up to kill the Hunter Biden laptop story. Polls suggest that had the bombshell New York Post story been allowed to fully surface, the outcome of the election may well have been different. President Donald Trump would have won a second term, while Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats probably would have declared the election was stolen from them.

Four years later, the accomplice media and their political co-conspirators are teaming up to cover up another huge story with the potential to affect the outcome of the election. That story: Vice President Kamala Harris is an idiot absolutely unqualified to be the President of the United States of America.

The Magic of Polls

Most Americans should be well-acquainted with Harris’ embarrassing body of work by now. From her utter lack of substance — what the hell is an “opportunity economy?” — to her bumbling and grotesquely ineffectual tenure as Biden’s bogus border czar to her routine inability to construct a coherent sentence, Kamala Harris is a walking disaster who, thanks to the Democrat Party’s quiet coup, is now running for president.

As unpopular a vice president as she has been, with as much political baggage she brings to the race, Trump should be winning in a landslide. He’s not. At least, according to the polls, orchestrated by the same accomplice media outlets that have served as an anti-Trump political action committee for the better part of the past decade.

“Poll: Newly popular Harris builds momentum, challenging Trump for the mantle of change,” NBC boldly proclaimed Sunday, touting its own poll. With just six weeks until Election Day, Harris leads Trump by 5 percentage points, 49 percent to 44 percent, according to the poll.

Harris has a four-point edge over Trump, according to a new CBS/YouGov poll, and she now finds herself up by two percentage points in the ever-critical battleground states. And magically, as if the last four years of high prices and economic uncertainty never happened, Harris has narrowed the gap on the biggest issue facing voters. The CBS poll now finds Harris down just six points (53 percent to 47 percent) among respondents who say the economy is a major factor in who they will vote for. In August, Trump dominated 56 percent to 43 percent. Suddenly, Harris is the economy czar.

‘A Surprise to Nearly Everyone’

Stop me if you’ve seen this movie before.

John McLaughlin, CEO and Partner at McLaughlin & Associates certainly has. Trump’s pollster remembers what the polls looked like at the same time in 2016. By Oct. 8, Hillary Clinton, the disgraced former secretary of state, was up by seven points in some polls, McLaughlin said.  He noted a mid-October CBS YouGov poll that showed Clinton was up by an insurmountable nine points (47 percent to 38 percent).

“Do you remember the ‘Hillary Lock?’” McLaughlin asked me Monday morning on NewsRadio 1040 WHO in Des Moines. I do. The lock was broken. Hillary lost. Trump won. And the “experts” were left to morosely wonder how they had gotten it all so wrong.

“The results of Tuesday’s presidential election came as a surprise to nearly everyone who had been following the national and state election polling, which consistently projected Hillary Clinton as defeating Donald Trump,” Pew Research pondered. “Relying largely on opinion polls, election forecasters put Clinton’s chance of winning at anywhere from 70% to as high as 99%, and pegged her as the heavy favorite to win a number of states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin that in the end were taken by Trump.”

Four years later, it was the same, in some cases worse, in Trump v. Biden. The experts didn’t need to do much soul searching then, however, and the corporate media pollsters suffered little in the way of accountability. Their guy won, or at least that’s what the final ballot counts said. But Biden didn’t win with anywhere near the kind of margins that the pollsters were predicting.

NPR’s Domenico Montanaro noted that a mere 44,000 votes in swing states “Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College.”

‘Media Bias Against Trump Unprecedented’

McLaughlin said “it’s all deja vu going through this again.” The renowned pollster, who’s been at it since the Reagan years, says many of the polls are skewed, weighted to steer political narratives.

“Right now, when you skew these polls like this, it helps Harris raise money. They try to suppress [the Republican] vote, try to get our people all worried that we’re going to lose,” he said.

Still, McLaughlin said he’s never seen the polling as manic as it has been. As the NBC and CBS polls came out showing Harris’ much-improved position, a New York Times/Siena College poll showed Trump stretching his lead in swing states Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina.

But Democrats need not worry so much. They’ve got ABC debate moderators in their back pockets. They’ve got banal reporting on Kamala’s good “vibes,” a “brat summer,” and contagious energy, even as corporate journalists allow Harris to avoid interviews, shirk responsibility for the disastrous policies she’s driven, or turn insipid platitudes like she was “raised a middle-class kid” when asked how she’s going to fix the messes she helped create.

A day before the debate, the Media Research Center released a report that found ABC’s “World News Tonight,” anchored by debate moderator David Muir, had made zero negative statements about Harris from the day she entered the presidential race. The nightly news program was much less kind to Trump, with 93 percent of its reporting regarding the former president being negative. The ratio was only slightly better in the CBS and NBC newsrooms, the MRC report found.

“The mainstream legacy media bias against Trump is unprecedented,” McLaughlin told me in the interview, adding that Trump lost the 2020 election because the same news and tech outlets carrying water for Harris censored the New York Post — a newspaper founded by Alexander Hamilton, a “bastion of the free press in America.”

The free press isn’t so free. Corporate media’s hatred for Trump is driving editorial decisions, including the refusal to tell the truth about Kamala Harris. More of the same, really. They covered for a dementia-riddled old man for three and a half years. Biden proved there are limits to the lies.

But the accomplice media’s Kamala coverup is next level election interference, and it already has proved to be a show for the ages.
