On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Senior Editor Christopher Bedford interviews Eric Metaxas, nationally syndicated radio host, #1 national bestselling author, and the writer of the new satirical book, “Donald and the Fake News.”

“There’s too much at stake for us to say ‘whoops’ I didn’t vote for Donald Trump and look where we are today,” Metaxas said.

President Donald Trump, Metaxas explains and outlines in his book, employs humor as an effective communication tool that can fight against the “worldview that is antithetical to America.”

“When we’re battling, we need to understand that if we’re battling for the good and there should be joy,” he said. “If I call myself a Christian, it should be manifested in some kind of joy.”

“I think that a lot of times people forget and they get overly serious and they’re just incapable of laughing and rejoicing. It’s a wonderful thing to know there’s such a thing as truth and to fight for the truth and the good and the beautiful,” he added.
