Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., immediately went for Michael Bloomberg’s jugular during the early moments of Wednesday night’s Democratic debate.
“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against—a billionaire who calls women fat broads and horse-faced lesbians,” said Warren. “No, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Michael Bloomberg.”
The early moments of the debate were focused mostly on Bloomberg. Sen. Amy Klobuchar. D-Minn., complained that Bloomberg’s campaign suggested lower-tier candidates leave the race in a memorandum. Both Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., criticized Bloomberg over the stop-and-frisk policy he implemented as mayor of New York City. Pete Buttigieg called Sanders and Bloomberg the “most polarizing” candidates on the stage.
