Tuesday’s Democratic presidential debate may have been in Detroit, but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Gov. John Hickenlooper (D-Col.) were in the schoolyard.
During a heated exchange with the former governor, Sanders, ever on brand, raised his arms in a gesture of exasperation. Hickenlooper interjected to mock him, exclaiming, “Throw your hands up!” When Sanders complied, the former Colorado governor threw his own hands in the air, shouting, “Oh ho! I can do it!”
