Andrew McCarthy, contributing editor of National Review and Fox News contributor, joins Ben Domenech on this episode of Federalist Radio Hour to discuss Kavanaugh, the status of the Mueller investigation, and FBI FISA abuse.
As a former federal prosecutor, McCarthy shares his perspective into the Russian investigations and the excuses made by Comey and the DOJ. “The one thing we almost never talk about: Why were these investigations run out of headquarters?” he said. “The FBI always tries to have cases by the field office that is germane to the offense…it’s almost as if they’re saying to themselves, ‘We understand what the dangers are here and we can control it… we won’t let politics effect us.'”
