Thumbtack is an app and website that makes it easy for consumers to connect local services and professionals. Ben Domenech interviews Thumbtack Co-Founder Sander Daniels in the company’s San Fransisco office. They discuss the challenges in starting a tech company, the future of the service economy, and how Thumbtack meshes with neighborhood and community.

“I dream of a day when the regulatory environment, the financing environment, the marketing environment, is so simple for somebody with a skill that they can graduate from that school and jump into it,” Daniels said. “Our expertise for service professionals is digital marketing.”
