James Hohmann, national political reporter for the Washington Post, joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss upcoming midterms, donors, and the future of democratic socialists.

“The future of the Democratic Party is not Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, just like the future of the Republican Party is not Dave Brat, regardless of what you think of him,” Hohmann said. “It’s mostly confined to far-left places, but the ideas–just like with the tea party movement–are going into the mainstream of Democratic politics.
