Jeremy Peters is a politics reporter at the New York Times who has covered campaigns, the auto industry, and now the Republican party.
On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Peters and Ben Domenech take a look back on ways the 2008 and 2012 elections contributed to a Trump presidency, and what conservative voters are thinking now.
“I thought I was going to be coming back to Washington and covering the Clinton administration in some capacity,” Peters said. “During the 2016 campaign I covered [Trump’s] race…and looking at his impact on the Republican party and how they were responding to him.”
