FCC Chairman Ajit Pai joins this episode of Federalist Radio Hour with Ben Domenech. Pai addresses the blowback to his recently announced plans to repeal net neutrality, and other misinformation about cable providers and internet regulations.

“The argument I am making in this plan is: the best way to address this risk is to have the FCC examine on a case by case basis any situations in which we believe there is any competitive conduct,” Pai said.

Later in the hour, they discuss how consumers can protect their data. “The FCC created a gap in terms of privacy…so by removing Title II classification of ISPs by saying they are no longer common carriers, we return all that jurisdiction to the FTC…allowing them to protect consumers when they go online,” Pai said.
